Best Friends Christmas - CCAYR Challenge

Hi everyone,  There is a new Challenge going on now at CCAYR!    Here is my card, keeping with the theme 4 of something or a bird.   This design is by Darcie's heart & home collection.   I thought it was super cute, found this in a local flea market.

My original stamping job left the words upside down so I had to cut everything out to turn it right side up.  :)  Wanted to keep with a CAS card but thought it wouldn't hurt to add a little bling.   I just used my prisma pencils to color it all in.    Thank you so much for dropping by, and hope to see you over at Christmas Crafts All Year Round.

Playful Penguins - New Challenge

Hello and Welcome to a new Challenge at Christmas Crafts All Year Round!  The theme this month of October is Winter Sports.    I'm not sure what happened to month of September but October is here!   

My card has playful penguins 

 I chose to use 3-D stickers, snowy background papers, from Hobby Lobby & Paper House Productions.   In fact, the stickers are from PHP as well.  Usually, I spend a bit more time in completing a card, but haven't had that much time off.

"March" Over To CCAYR!

 Hello crafty friends, It's March!  And CCAYR is having a challenge.   This month the focus needs to have brown as the main color, so this is what I finally came up with using a digital image from Tsunami Rose Retro Vintage Christmas Journal Cards.   Also, the card may include stars, holly, berries.   With this image already being vintage, I used vintage photo from Tim Holtz for that extra around the edges giving it more of a brown tone.  This set had pink as an accent color.   The fire gives it a glow.   So, head on over to CCAYR to join in the fun!

Hello, There's a Challenge going on...

Hello everyone!  We have a Challenge going on over at Christmas Crafts All Year Round, and you're  invited!   The theme is Gingerbread!

Here is my project that I made for the challenge. ♥

This is my own image, that I created just for this challenge.  I named the Gingerbread:  Gingerbread Joy  You may find this Image in my Zibbet Shop, the link has been provided. ♥

I think he is cute, celebrating the Season of Christmas by spreading Joy!

He's Makin' a List and Checkin' it Twice!

Hello and Welcome to my crafting corner..

I would like to tell you about my card I have made for Christmas Crafts All Year Round.

(You'll have to excuse the lighting) 

Its kind of hard to tell if I gave his face any coloring but I sure did.

This is my card made with our new digital image, "Checking it Twice".

How to make the beard white?  Well, I gave that a lot of thought.  So, I got out my liquid pearls in the shade of white opal, it wasn't bright white but it worked for what I wanted it to do.  Texture.

Christmas Crafts All Year Round Challenge!

Hi! and a Happy New Year to all my crafty friends!  There's a new challenge going on at Christmas Crafts All Year Round!  
The theme for January is "Thank You" with a Christmas flair!   So, make sure you visit Christmas Crafts All Year Round to enter into the challenge!    Here's my card: 

I decided to go with House Mouse designs stamp.  Olive green card base; red cut out frame using my Cricut; image colored in using my prisma pencils; the thank you is a stamp; the poinsettia just happened to be from my stash; and snow flake washi tape behind the thank you sentiment.   I thought this looked sweet and cozy.  I also used liquid pearls in white opal and glitter to indicate snow.

Exciting News!!

Good Evening,  I have some exciting news, I am now part of the Design Team at Christmas Cards All Year Round!!  I look forward to this new adventure of creating cards just with a Christmas or Winter theme!    

For me personally, I think it will help to have some cards made and on hand for when Christmas does pop around!   Right this moment I am in "elf mode" to get crafting... and have made a few things cards and images having to do with this wonderful holiday season.
