Ahhhhh Spa... I'm Ready

A nice dip into a spa would be a great experience... well, at least Hettie Hedgehog can have that lovely spa like feeling.. here she is relaxing in Ahhhhh Spa.. available now in my shop: https://marketplace.zibbet.com/createful-heart-design/ahhhhh-spa-digital-file

This is my sample of how I used the colors. The background looks a bit darker than I wanted.. will create another one soon. ;)

Oxide pads from Tim Holtz were used to give a watercolor effect when flicked with water then dried.
The image was colored in using Ohuhu Markers, which by the way, I'm still getting the "feel" on how to blend with them.
Anyway, there it is...  awwww.. I can wish.. :)

thanks for visiting, leave a comment before you leave.. I would greatly appreciate it.

Blossom Time

Hello!   I recently created a card using my Awesome Blossom image.  I needed to make a card for a family member, and this is what I came up with.   I colored it up using my Ohuhu brand of markers.  Glitter gelly roll pens in pinks, purples.  And highlights with the white gelly roll pen.  I think it turned out nicely.   Let me know what you think.  To add in some water droplets on the petals and leaves I used Nuvo jewel drops.  It did nicely!

Also, some of you may have known that my Mother passed away in February.  And just last month we lost my aunt.  Its been a difficult couple of months.  Not the best way to start out the year of 2019.    As the days go by, and little by little my heart heals from all the pain... I know I will start to feel better.     My hobbies have been a "lifeline" of sorts to keep my mind busy.  I am hoping to create some new images soon.    I have taken up jewelry making too.    Working on a couple of bracelets.  I would make earrings to match however, my ears always get infected so that idea is out and clip-on types don't fit very well.  Better not mess with earrings.  lol

Anyway, sorry I haven't been on here in a long while, but will try my best to be on here more frequently.   I'll see you later, and thanks for stopping by to see my cards!

Spring Has Sprung

Hello everyone!
We have a Spring Challenge going on now @ Createful Heart
We would love to have you join in with us!
Just wanted to share the card I made for this blog challenge.

Using the Image: Vintage Butterfly Airmail
Created this in memory of my Mother.  She loved butterflies.  I hope that you will check out our challenge and see our store!

Materials used for this card:
Ohuhu Markers
Flat Lace from Cindy's Laces
Prima (background paper) Cherry Blossom
Graphic 45
And Zinc Oxide Inks from Tim Holtz
And black gems I had on hand
White Card Stock from Hobby Lobby

On the side note, wanted to say that I plan to make a scrapbook to honor my parents.   I'm gathering all the materials for this purpose.
I had always wanted to make one, but was never sure of what kind to make.
For those of you that didn't know.. last month my Mother passed away.  Just a day after her 94th birthday.
She lived a long life, a blessed life.  She is sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Well, I'm going to end this post here.. but I am happy to have you come by.. sorry for such a late posting..

Leave a comment if you wish, I read each and every one. ♥
